The Last Article is a short story by Harry Turtledove (originally published in The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, January 1988; reprinted in Kaleidoscope; The Best Military Science Fiction of the Twentieth Century). It is an alternate history which depicts the occupation of India by the Nazis during World War II. Mohandas Gandhi continues to employ techniques of Satyagraha against the occupation forces led by Field Marshal Walter Model.I had been looking for this story for a while, and finally found it. Thank you very much! I had read this novel when I was a boy and I have cited it several times lately, due the situation in Ucraine. I'm very happy I can refresh my memory. People who think that peace can always be substained with no weapons at all should read it.
