Your blog is one of the most insightful critiques of spirituality on the internet.

Your analysis and assessment of actualism are also unique and brilliant, but it's such an extreme ism/philosophy that few people will be drawn to your blog solely because of it.
However, I was one of those people as a 21-year-old, 4th-year medical student in December 2009. At the time, your criticism of actualism put into words what I thought and felt but couldn't express or acknowledge.

Keep writing and blogging! Not all mental responses are second arrows. Second arrow is a specific mental response that comes from an unrealistic expectation from life- a belief that one can have a problem free life. Pain- physical as well as emotional- is inevitable. But what makes it unbearable is the mistaken belief that it is some kind of unnatural situation which can be permanently cured. This is the second arrow.

Sanjay Srivastavahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12178069405979485331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7037385.post-1141095221775680712023-12-06T14:48:23.360+05:302023-12-06T14:48:23.360+05:30There is also suspicion of fraud in addition. I have to ask you, though, do you feel that your stance on a actualism has changed? It was in December 2009/January 2010 that you had "given it up". Do you view it frequently same way 13 years later? I am having a hard time shaking it off (it as in actualism)- intellectually speaking.Venkathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08542185072190627621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7037385.post-10790376112904576892023-04-20T21:41:55.534+05:302023-04-20T21:41:55.534+05:30Does this playlist answer your question:

As a practising physician, I have to admit that we get it wrong many times. We keep patients in the hospital hoping they will get better, but the actual healing happens in the comfort of their own home surrounded by loved ones. Two significant factors are necessary for healing besides everything else: the patient's will to get better and the love and support of family and friends. I am happy and relieved that your wife made a full recovery. It wouldn't have been possible with you. And her determination, of course.
